The opportunity

To support each member of the existing team, gaining experience across the full range of HR activities. To execute administrative tasks to enable a smooth and efficient running of the team. 

Responsibilities

The HR Apprentice / Administrator will be involved with a wide range of projects and everyday tasks. Key responsibilities include:

HR Operations

  • Supporting HRA with new starter inductions
  • Adding new starters to relevant platforms and removing leavers
  • Undertaking stock counts and placing orders for new starter welcome packs
  • Booking rooms and lunches for HR initiatives
  • Maintaining employee records and updating HR databases
  • Processing FW expenses and coding invoices
  • Ordering gifts for staff life events
  • Uploading and maintaining the home page and Our People news reels on Foxnet
  • Printing and scanning for the team
  • Assisting with departmental admin tasks

Recruitment:

  • Ensuring the application mailbox is up to date. Responding to queries where possible and escalating matters to the Talent Officer if applicable.
  • Sending rejection emails to candidates
  • Booking meeting rooms for interviews
  • Assisting with the organisation of the firm’s annual Vacation Scheme

 

Legal Support:

  • Scheduling appraisal meetings
  • Assisting with admin tasks related to mid and end of probations
Personal attributes and skills
  • Minimum BBB A-level grade (or equivalent) and a minimum of 6 GCSEs at grade 6 or above
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Highly literate and numerate.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to retain high levels of concentration.
  • Ambitious to progress career and deliver a quality work output.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and with a team orientated approach.
  • Willing to learn and make improvements to existing processes.
  • Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
