The department
  • The role reports to the Business Development & Sales Director.
  • Our BD&M team of 4 has defined workstreams for Sales, BD, Marketing & Communications and Systems. This role will be the sole role in our Systems workstream but strong relationships across BD&M will be critical. The whole team sits together and there will be daily collaboration across streams.
  • The role will require collaboration across Business Services, particularly Finance.
The opportunity

We are recruiting for a Relationship Data Analyst to join Fox Williams’ Business Development & Marketing (BD&M) team. It is an exciting time to join this team and offers the right candidate the revolutionise the way the firm uses client relationship data.  

Fox Williams has grown quickly in recent years and continues to set and exceed ambitious targets. The firm’s Partnership Board are keen for the BD&M team to play a key role in enabling the firm’s success. To do this the Partners and BD&M need accurate data and good client MI to focus BD&M efforts and understand the relationships most important to the firm’s growth.

The firm has invested in CRM with Upper Sigma and Introhive being implemented now. The role will support a successful CRM implementation through understanding and setting up processes and reports to most effectively use our data. The role is collaborative, working with BD&M, Compliance and Finance to make the best use of client data from client intake, to billing, to relationship management to reporting.  

Responsibilities
  • Maximise the value that our contact and relationship systems provide to the business through understanding business need and enhancing relationship information sharing to support profitable revenue generation.
  • Connecting client information journey across the business ensuring we identify areas of strength and improvement. This may include designing, championing and monitoring data governance protocols and policies with colleagues across the firm.
  • Enhance the CRM provision to the business. There are a range of Phase 2 activities identified in the CRM implementation project to provide an enhanced and fit for purpose CRM experience.
  • Data management is a key component of enabling the above. Responsibilities include:
  1. Understanding the relationships data available and gaps.
  2. Leading the data workstream for the CRM improvements project, including data cleanse, gap and enrichment work.
  3. Monitor and maintain data integrity across integrated systems and support on ad hoc data migration workstreams.
  4. Data mapping work and best use of existing data sets to inform business insights.
  5. Designing, championing and monitoring relationship data governance protocols and policies across the firm.
  • Relationship reporting at business, sector and team level, automating and using systems including Upper Sigma (Salesforce) and PowerBi where possible.
  • Ensuring CRM data is compliant with GDPR and Areas of Interest preferences are up to date.
  • The daily administration of Upper Sigma (Salesforce) CRM, Introhive and Concep systems. Working with the 3rd parties on break fix resolutions and change requests, pulling in additional resources if required.
  • To some extent, work with colleagues on non-relationship data analysis where your advice is valuable.
Personal attributes and skills
  • Demonstrable business knowledge and the ability to interrogate data to surface BD insights.
  • Proven track record of working with CRM systems in a professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of working with data to produce useful MI.
  • Ability to influence and promote the benefits of good data and MI in a professional services environment.
  • Our systems are Upper Sigma, Introhive, PowerBi and 3E. Experience with these systems is desirable.
