Fox Williams is a London based business law firm that offers big-firm quality expertise alongside a premium client relationship. The Fox Williams Business Development & Marketing team comprises nine team members:

  1. Business Development & Sales Director
  2. Head of Business Development and Marketing
  3. Senior Marketing Communications Manager
  4. Relationship Data Analyst
  5. Partnerships & BD Manager, FinTech/Tech
  6. Senior Business Development Executive
  7. Senior Communications Executive
  8. Marketing and Business Development Executive
  9. Marketing and Events Executive
The opportunity

This role is vital in providing hands-on support in a busy team which is committed to delivering targeted marketing and proactive business development support that enhances the firm’s quality-led brand. Fox Williams is an ambitious firm; everyone in the team can support reputation enhancement and business growth.

As the Marketing & BD Administrator, you’ll provide essential day-to-day and project support across the Business Development & Marketing (BD&M) team and assist the Director. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to build their skills in a forward-thinking firm, committed to the development of its people.

Responsibilities

In line with policies and procedures, key responsibilities include:

Team and Director Support

  • Provide flexible admin support to team members on a wide range of tasks and projects.
  • Act as an assistant to the BD&M Director, helping with e.g. diary management, arranging team events, filing and invoice handling, and proof-reading.
  • Hold responsibility for the team’s intranet page.

Marketing & Digital

  • Support the team to build and maintain up to date records of marketing collateral including credentials, profiles, deal tombstones etc.
  • Assist in preparing newsletters, event invites, alerts and graphics using systems such as Concep, WordPress and Canva.
  • Support content updates across web and social media channels.
  • Apply basic SEO and track website performance via Google Analytics, supporting in producing analytics reports.
  • Help manage the firm’s branded materials and promotional item stock.

Events

  • Assist with client event logistics, including invite lists, RSVP tracking, and inbox monitoring.
  • Help prepare materials and support on the day of events (e.g. badges, presentations, greeting guests).

Business Development

  • Help research potential clients, industry sectors and market trends.
  • Support the creation of pitch materials, meeting packs, and presentations.
  • Support the team and Partners to track actions with contacts post international trips or events.
  • Work with the Relationship Data Analyst and the firm’s CRM system (Upper Sigma, Salesforce) to ensure client data is accurate and current.
Personal attributes and skills

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Being familiar with CRM/e-marketing systems/design packages would be desirable.
  • Social media-savvy, especially on LinkedIn and Twitter, with an understanding of business communications.
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple tasks calmly and professionally.
  • A team player with great interpersonal skills. Comfortable communicating across all levels of seniority.
  • Eager to learn, contribute ideas, and improve processes.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to changing priorities, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
